Dr. Benjamin (Ben) Talei is a dual board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon from California, internationally recognized for his expertise in deep plane facial rejuvenation, facelifting, minimally invasive rhinoplasty, and the deep plane upper lip lift—a procedure he helped pioneer and performs more than any surgeon worldwide.

He graduated with honors in physiological sciences from UCLA and earned his medical degree from UC San Diego, where he was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his extensive charitable work. He completed his residency in head and neck surgery at Columbia University, Cornell University, and New York-Presbyterian Hospital, serving as chief resident and training with leading facial plastic surgeons. He then completed two prestigious fellowships, including at the New York Center for Facial Plastic & Laser Surgery and the Vascular Birthmark Institute of New York, gaining advanced expertise in vascular birthmarks and pediatric facial plastic surgery.

He serves on the Beverly Hills Health & Wellness Committee and is Advisory Chair for the Los Angeles County Medical Association.
